March Open Jam
It was a Music Depot Open Jam to remember at The Reeb House last Sunday March 24th! Teachers and students rocked the stage with special appearances, amazing performances and lots of new students!
Check out just a few highlights below:
We love seeing new faces on stage! Logan got up for the very first time at one of our Open Jams with his teacher Max and singer Devon to do a cover of Head Over Boots!
Leah may only be nine years old, but she sounds like she has been doing this for years! Check out her covering Belly Ache with our music director Jack! You can also see her live at Our Tribute to Queen on April 7th at Seneca Queen Theatre!
When students and teachers team up to perform, it is always a treat! This cover of Broken Halo with our vocal teacher Ann and her student Troy, with a special appearance by Todd, Ann's husband on the cajon is absolutely beautiful!
Every once in a while a student takes the stage and has the ability to hush the entire crowd! When Erin started singing Hallelujah with one of our teachers (also named Erin) on the piano, the room fell silent!
Two of our Ukuladies, an all womens ukulele group at The Music Depot, got up to perform The Unicorn by The Irish Rovers, everyone started dancing (unfortunately not caught on camera) There was also some special faces on stage, Rob and Megan from Country 89.1! This was part of a radio contest entered by one of our audience members! We really hope that they win!
One of our vocal teachers, Erin had her Mom visiting from out West, so naturally they got up to do a couple of songs together. Check out Erin and her Mom Leila performing Count of Me and A Million Dreams!
