Vocalists From The Music Depot Kick Off The Canada 150 Awards

After just one rehearsal on Friday night, vocal students from The Music Depot hit the stage on Saturday morning to kick off the Canada 150 Awards at the Vale Center in Port Colborne. Wearing tiny Canada hats and matching Depot shirts, they impressed the packed venue by not only singing the National Anthem in English, but French as well.

The vocal students ranging from age 12-15 are the new performance team from The Music Depot's Welland studio. They were introduced to each other in their first ever rehearsal less then 24 hours before they had their first performance. After a grueling 2 hour rehearsal arranging harmonies and arrangements on Friday night, they did their music school and their country proud! Check out the video below!

The Performance Team Program and The Music Depot is a free program for dedicated students looking to take their talents out of the classroom and into the community. Some absolutely amazing things have come out of this program and some unforgettable memories have been made!
